In the year In 2020, then-President-elect Joe Biden made history when he named North Carolina’s Michael Reagan as the first black person to serve as EPA administrator.
Recently, Tim spent time with Reagan in Washington, DC and in his hometown of Goldsboro, North Carolina. It was there that Tim discovered that Reagan’s years on the family farm had a profound influence on his views and motivations on the environment and climate change. His hometown played an important role in paying attention to environmental justice.
Later, Reagan talks with Tim about what it’s like to work for president and what it would be like to run for office himself.
